I’m in a fall mood for sure! It might still be 78 degrees outside here in southern CA, but I’m fully embracing the spirit of the season. Bring on the cozy sweaters, hot tea, and my fun new fall theme printable activity bundle!
Themes are big in preschool. I’m sure there are great scientific reasons behind why themes help little ones retain information better, but I’m just gonna go with they’re fun! There’s nothing like a good theme to help reinforce the lesson. In the past we’ve enjoyed “About Me“, “Outer Space”, and “Ocean” themes, just to name a few favorites. And now I’m excited to add this fall theme to the list!
Here’s what’s in this fun little fall theme bundle:
Acorn alphabet matching game.
These fun little pseudo puzzles are great for learning to match uppercase and lowercase letters. I think these are going to help Squeaks practice those hard to remember similar letters like p, q, b, and d. Plus, Squeaks is really into puzzles in general, so these are right up her alley. These would be a great addition to a fall sensory bin too!
Colors of fall word tracing worksheet.
Celebrate the beautiful colors that appear in fall with this fun word tracing activity. Review color recognition while practicing penmanship. I laminated our worksheet so Squeaks can trace the words with a dry erase marker as many times as she’d like. It just erases with a tissue! I’m looking forward to pointing out the beautiful colors of fall while we’re out and about this season.

Fall scissor skills worksheet.
When we first started playing school, I would sit Squeaks down with a stack of junk mail and her little safety scissors and just let her go to town. We’ve come a long way! She really enjoyed when I made her a spring themed scissor skills sheet and I’m excited to let her loose on this new fall themed one. I just know she’s going to love the colors and the cute little bird. Once she’s done cutting I can just hit reprint and she can practice again!
Count and graph worksheet.
Is it weird that introducing the concept of graphing to my preschooler seriously excites me?…I don’t care! How awesome is it that she can collect her data, read the results, and enjoy the satisfaction of a well made informative graph at the ripe old age of four!? I’m a little jealous. ๐ Really though, counting practice, reasoning skills, fun fall colors, all in one cute little worksheet. Does it get better!? I think not.
Pumpkin number flashcards.
The uses for these cute little pumpkin cards are nearly endless. We plan to use them for basic review, just hold them up flashcard-style and call out the numbers from memory. Then we can practice a little number sense by stacking snap cubes or Legos to go with each number card. And perhaps we’ll do a number scavenger hunt! I’ll hide the cards around the house and have her search them out and put them in order.
I’m so excited to start this fun little fall themed activity bundle! It’ll bring a little fall coziness into our homeschool routine.
